Dale Kutzera Bio

Indie-Author and sometime filmmaker Dale Kutzera grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. He has worked as a screenwriter and is a recipient of the Carl Sautter Screenwriting Award, an Environmental Media Award, and participated in the Warner Brother Writers Workshop.

Among his credits are the VH-1 series “Strange Frequency,” the CBS drama “Without a Trace,” and the independent film “Military Intelligence And You!” His novels include the crime thriller “Manhunt,” and the “Andy McBean” series of middle-grade adventures. Early in his career, Kutzera wrote freelance articles for “American Cinematographer,” “Cinefex,” and “Cinefantastique.” He was researcher for “Rosebud,” David Thompson’s biography of Orson Welles.
